Who
is supposed to where a helmet?
Helmets protect every snowboarders or skiers, from the beginner to the
expert, for children as well as adults.
Children
Wearing a helmet is essential for children whilst skiing or snowboarding.
The number of head injuries is higher for children. Because of their height,
a child’s head is more exposed to danger from collision.
Teenagers
Teenagers who are wearing a helmet must keep wearing it whilst growing
up. Teenagers usually ski or snowboard faster, take more risk and do more
acrobatics; wearing a helmet is essential!
Adults
Wearing a helmet is also recommended for adults. Ski or snowboard falls
are dangerous for adults because of their lack of flexibility, and may
lead to head injuries, especially in case of collision between two persons
or any obstacle.
Every person should wear a
helmet when practicing a winter sport. Follow the example of professional
competitors who do not ski or snowboard without a helmet!
