Skimeter is an equipment for a safe and quick personal settings of ski bindings in accordance with the ISO international standards.

It is the responsibility of the retailer to set ski bindings to the ISO standards. An adapted and personalized bindings setting depends on various factors personal to everyone. Skimeter takes into account each of these parameters for a personal binding setting.

Why Skimeter?
To set the ski bindings properly
The skiman has the responsibility to properly set the ski bindings. The binding is set at front and at the rear.

The verification is made by reading the visual indicator on the binding (number 3 to 10 on a regular binding). That number must correspond with the Z value calculated by the skiman.

The setting of the release depends on known factors such as age, gender, weight, ski boot length, skier ability, physical condition and skiing style. All of these parameters are very important for a proper release setting.Skimeter takes into account each of these parameters for a personal binding setting.
The skier will choose his own settings directly on the apparel. Skimeter gives a Z value in few seconds.

Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the retailer to set ski bindings to ISO and AFNOR standards and to prove it in case of a lawsuit. The standard is a point of reference for Judges when considering litigation.
It is the responsibility of the user to correctly indicate his/her type of skiing ability.

Skimeter protects the retailer against lawsuits:
- The user choose his parameters on the Skimeter.
- The weight and the boot length are automatically measured by Skimeter.
- Skimeter prints a ticket proving that the proper setting has been done.
- It offers retailers the possibility of getting the ticket signed by the skier.

How does it work?
1. The skier gets on the machine with his ski boots on.
2. The skier pushes his/her ski boots against the lever.
3. The user chooses his/her settings on the Skimeter.
4. Skimeter will weight the skier without displaying his/her weight on the screen. The boot length will also automatically be taken.
5. Skimeter automatically gives the recommanded ski binding setting value.

The whole process takes only a few seconds!
